Starting your own Clothing Company

Posted in Getting Started on Jul 19, 2006

Everyone and their grandma has their own clothing line these days, so why shouldn’t you? T-Shirt’s are one of today’s leading industries… Companies like Hurley, Mossimo and Ecko are all examples of rags to riches success stories that have ended up on the chests and backs of people all across the world.

All it takes is one good idea, an understanding of print design, a screen-printer and a bit of luck to land your very own clothing line in the mainstream. If you’re an artist, you could start your own clothing company in a matter of hours and for less than $100.

Have a great idea but no design skills? It’s just as easy to hire someone to create your vision… or better yet buy a few books and follow some tutorials and learn yourself! There is no reason you shouldn’t be jumping at this opportunity.

Amazing resource, although you should link your other posts to this thread and make this a starting point.
